Description
The Subaru WRX, which stands for “World Rally eXperimental,” introduced in 1992, has since become one of the most popular sports cars. The WRX design is attributed to Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), the car manufacturer responsible for Subaru’s production. The Subaru WRX features a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder Boxer engine with a power output of 300 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The WRX is known for its excellent handling, achieved through the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Thanks to this system, the WRX can corner at high speeds and is extremely stable during fast driving. The WRX also has technologies such as the Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) system, which allows the driver to easily control the car, even on difficult terrain. The car’s structure also includes an active torque distribution system, which plays an important role alongside the symmetrical all-wheel drive. Additionally, the WRX has a larger turbocharger, enabling the engine to deliver more power. Safety was an important factor in the car’s design, which is why the WRX is equipped with both active and passive safety systems. The car features various airbags, as well as the Advanced Safety Package system, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning.
